Talking Vids, Inc. is a professional training and media development firm with nationwide clients.

MICROPHONES

There are thousands of microphones out there and a large number are quite good. What isn’t good is a cheap built-in laptop mic, cheap lavalier mics, cheap headset mics or mics that come built into your monitor.

Ideally, a good condenser mic is the best choice as it has a warmer sound. There are many good USB mics and quite a few decent headset mics.

MONITORING

We deploy advanced technologies and monitoring tools to make the task systematic.

Our team has worked with a variety of clients across the globe and know what to look for while monitoring an audio file.

EDITING/EFFECTS

We provide sound editing and production including a full digital music and sound effects library:

Adobe Audition CC, Sound Forge 10, Storyblocks Sound Libraries, Adobe Stock Sound Libraries, Digital Juice Staxx Traxx, SmartSound Audio, Digital Juice SoundFX volumes, Podcaster 2 music loops, Adobe Soundbooth CS5

RECORDING

Yes! We use vMix to stream exactly what viewers are seeing back to you—no need to open up the stream separately.

Note that your own video feed will seem delayed while we're recording live; this is just a side effect of processing video and sending it back to your computer, but your audio and video will play in sync for the audience.

SET UP

We would recommend that you hook up an external webcam and/or microphone to your laptop to ensure good video and audio quality.

LISTENING

Headphones or earbuds are generally preferable to speakers, as your microphone will probably pick up your speaker's output and cause audio feedback.
